Abstract

The total working age population in North Luwu Regency in August 2023 was 253,532 people. This number increased from 235,157 people (7.81 percent) compared to last year. The number of workers in North Luwu Regency in August 2023 reached 169,825 people, a decrease of 20 people (0.01 percent) compared to last year. The number of working population in August 2023 in North Luwu Regency increased by 0.18 percent compared to August 2022. The number of working population in North Luwu Regency in August 2023 was 165,367 people. The number of unemployed in 2023 reached 4,458 people. The TPT in North Luwu Regency in August 2023 was 2.63 percent, a decrease compared to the TPT in August 2022. When viewed from the business sector, the agricultural sector is still the sector that absorbs the most workers, namely 81,486 workers (49.28 percent).
