Abstract

The consumer's need for statistical data is increasingly complex, especially data that composites the social and economic fields. To meet these data needs, the Statistics of Luwu Utara Regency published the 2019 Human Development Index (HDI) publication. This publication is intended to provide a comprehensive picture of the level of population empowerment in the fields of education, health, and purchasing power of the population. These three indicators serve to measure the achievement of the success of Human Development in Luwu Utara Regency. In addition, this publication also accommodates the Updating of the National Statistical System, namely through the application of the HDI Calculation using the New Method. It is hoped that the use of the new method can better reflect the Progress and Development of Human Development in the Luwu Utara Regency.
