Market Price Monitoring and Cheap Food Movement

Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Luwu together with the Regional Government checked the prices of basic necessities at the Masamba Central Market. This activity was attended by the Head of BPS North Luwu, Assistant II of the North Luwu Regional Secretariat A. Zulkarnaen, representatives of the North Luwu District Attorney's Office, the Cooperatives and Trade Service, and the Head of the Market UPT. This monitoring aims to ensure price stability ahead of the National Religious Holiday (HBKN).

On the same day, the Cheap Food Movement (GPM) activity was held in Sepakat Village, Masamba District. This activity is a synergy between agencies attended by the Head of BPS North Luwu, Head of PAPBB of the North Luwu District Attorney's Office Andi Gunawan, representatives from the North Luwu Police Ipda Ilhamuddin, the Cooperatives and Trade Service, and Perum Bulog. GPM is a concrete step in maintaining affordable prices and the availability of basic necessities for the community.
